Excellent communication skills are crucial in project management and the same is true in coaching. Having knowledge of a subject is one thing, being able to effectively share that knowledge is a whole other matter. Coaches who have finely honed their communications skills are best prepared to instruct, advise, and mentor clients. Interviewing skills and effective listening skills are paramount in the coach/client relationship.
Adrienne Clarkston said it best: "Each of us is carving a stone, erecting a column, or cutting a piece of stained glass in the construction of something much bigger than ourselves."

Career coaches play an essential role in the lives of job seekers. They provide support and encouragement as well as specific resources to help start and further career aspirations. The goal of career coaching is to empower individuals by helping them make informed decisions about their career objectives. Career coaching can be done at any point during the work life cycle. It can evolve from finding a student job at the very beginning of a career, to building a new resume or CV, as well as continuing with support and guidance during career transitions.
Strategic Planning for Job-seekers
I employ one-on-one meetings via video sessions to help students and job-seekers discover their unique strengths, organize and market their job search, and effectively focus on talents which promote on-the-job efficiency.
Resume and Cover Letter Revisions
I coach my clients on how to best tell their stories. I provide in-depth reviews and recommendations to optimize resumes and cover letters for the targeted job.
Most job-seekers think that the job interview is an opportunity to talk about themselves. This notion is decidedly wrong. This single error in perception is the downfall of job-seekers. My interview coaching thoroughly prepares the job-seeker to stand out from the candidate pool by talking about the job and not the job applicant.
My coaching services include a Salary Negotiation Strategy Session, to help job-seekers gain clarity on compensation needs and navigate the compensation and salary negotiation process.
I'm here when my job-seekers need me. I can be reached between sessions via calls, texts or emails. My career coaching practice evolves along with the unique needs of my clients.
What does your on-line presence say about you? Perhaps you are in a career transition, or rethinking your career goals? Your professional branding is essential when you are considering changes and opportunities for growth. Let's work together to do a check-up on your professional profile. I have a keen eye to pull together a profile that is congruent and attractive.
The human species is hard-wired to collaborate. Reading and writing (communications) the unique province of homo sapiens, is the essential precursor to personal and professional collaborations. Every interaction we have with someone outside of our immediate circle can teach us something valuable. The most effective and successful collaborations involve people bringing very different skill sets, viewpoints, and strengths to the table.
Today's technology allows collaboration among people internationally. The integration of social media tools (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) permits the instant exchange of ideas regardless of geography.
Throughout my career, I have come to rely on my network of talented professionals. Together, let's explore the synergy of collaboration in one or more of the following areas:
